If a seller wishes to operate under their name, the business is automatically considered a sole proprietorship. For housewives (sole proprietors), the following documents are required:
Aadhar card / PAN card / Bank Account Details
FSSAI ( If the seller wants to list food items / Get FSSAI )
GST Registration Number (optional)
For GST-Registered Sellers:
Monthly GST reports will be sent directly to you. It's the seller's responsibility to file GST.
For Non-GST Registered Sellers:
If you are not GST registered, MomsKart will automatically deduct GST from your product sales and ensure the proper filing with the relevant authorities. This ensures compliance with GST regulations for all products listed on our platform.
Please ensure that all products you list on the Momskart include the applicable GST. This will not only streamline the process but also maintain transparency for both sellers and customers.
Pricing Structure
Momskart Seller Model: Simple, Transparent, and Seller-Friendly
At Momskart, our seller model is designed with simplicity and fairness at its core, ensuring a seamless experience for our valued sellers. Here’s how it works:
1. Seller-Set Pricing:
Sellers have complete control over pricing. You decide the price for each eligible product you wish to sell on Momskart. Make sure they are not too high as compared to other products.
2. No Hidden Fees:
There are no product listing fees or commissions taken by Momskart. We believe in transparency and fairness. If seller require account setup and product listing support than a seller service charges are applied.
3. Packing and Shipping Costs:
A fixed amount is added to the seller's price to cover packing and part of the shipping cost. The customers pay this amount.
For example:
Seller's Price for a Product: ₹100
Fixed Packing/Shipping Fees: ₹25 (for products up to 400g)
Product Listing Price on Momskart Marketplace: ₹125
Total Shipping Cost: ₹40 (of which ₹25 is included in the product price, and the remaining ₹15 is paid by the customer at checkout)
All prices are inclusive of GST.
4. GST Handling:
Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included in the product price set by the seller.
If the seller is registered for GST, it is included in the price they set.
For non-registered sellers, Momskart takes care of GST filing and deducts it accordingly from the sale amount.
5. Platform Fee:
Momskart charges a flat platform fee of 5% on each sale. This fee is automatically deducted when the sale amount is transferred to the seller's wallet.
6. Wallet Balance Withdrawals:
Withdrawal requests for the seller's wallet balance are processed twice a month:
On the 15th day of the month requests are made from the 1st to the 14th.
On the last working day of the month for requests made from the 15th to the 30th.
